Fox's Glee! has jumped on the bandwagon since their first episodes.   DJ's have been playing megamixes in the clubs for years.  The trick is blending the vocals and the hooks to seamlessly flow into each other.  It's a real talent and when it works, it completely transforms the song.  Here's 4 to energize your day!!

"FADE INTO SOMEONE LIKE YOU" - AVIICI vs ADELE  (DJs FROM MARS Remix)

Adele's "Someone Like You" is so hauntingly beautiful, it's almost painful to listen to because we can all relate to her pain.   Her song is mashed with one of the hottest DJ's, Aviici, to add some punch to the mix.   It's not better than the original but it's hot!

"SMOOTH ROMANCE"   LADY GAGA VS. ROB THOMAS VS. VAN HALEN

Recipe:  Two scoops of "Smooth" by Santana, a half of a cup of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and a few sprinkles of "Jump" from Van Halen.     Mix well, serve hot!

"MOVES LIKE JAGGER / JUMPIN JACK FLASH"  - GLEE CAST

Is it just me or this version WAY better than Maroon 5's?    If you would have told me that Glee would have mashed up a hallowed Rolling Stones song and done this well, I wouldn't have believed it!   I actually like  the guy in the wheelchair, Artie's, dance moves better than the other guys.  He has a Justin Timberland-like voice that works great here.

Classic country with rock guitar riffs!    Miranda is pure country, twang in her voice, sweet southern style, but feisty, passionate, and as sexy as can be!    "Fastest Girl In Town" is full of mischief and a perfect driving song.

A perfect mash-up of the Gloria Gaynor disco smash and Destiny's Child empowerment mega-hit. Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (the insanely beautiful, Naya Rivera) lead their crew with a perfect mix of two songs which embody taking charge of your life, never giving up, and getting back up when life throws a curve at you. The dance routine is tight, Mercedes' voice is powerful, and Santana takes it to the next level. Great peformance!

"I LOVE YOU BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY" RYAN ADAMS

Ryan Adams, not Bryan!, critically acclaimed singer/songwriter who started off as leader of Whiskeytown has been recording brilliant CDs for the past 10 years. This is from the new CD Ashes & Fire. Perhaps this song was written about a past girlfriend or his wife, singer Mandy Moore, either way it's a beautiful song with simple piano, a hint of drums, acoustic guitar, and soft sensitive vocals. It's a take your breath away song.
