How You Like Me Now: Sammy Hagar, The Heavy, Sugarcult

"HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW"            THE HEAVY

First heard this song during the movie, "The Fighter", one of my favorite films in the last year.   Christian Bale, Melissa Leo, Amy Adams, even Mark Wahlberg.....so many great performances.  The Heavy feature a great hip hop beat over rock guitars on this one.  This is kind of a double sample as Kool Moe Dee had a hit with this in the 80's sampling James Brown's "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag".   Kia Sorrento used this for their commercial, great song got a lot of publicity!

Life is unpredictable, when you find love, you need to hold onto it with everything you've got.    This song is a perfect fall in love song with lyrics that describe all of the little things that draw you into someone (although in this song, it's the wrong one for you but love is blind!)
